Right Capital:
Daniel among the Lions. Daniel, in a mardorla, if flanked by two lions oon either side. The subject matter is also seen in another capital at Vezelay (Salet # 34). This is not as contradictory as it appears, since in the Bible Daniel is thrown into the lion's den twice, once in Daniel 6:16-26 and once in Daniel 14: 30-41.
