Description
Shrine covered with silver plate and ornamented with some jewels, in which is the body of Saint Denis given by Pope Innocent III to the those religious people from this monastery who attended the Latran Counsel in 1215. Some people believe that the head which is in this shine is the one which was honored in the church of the Abbey of Long-pont, or that it is the one that was carried from Constantinople by Nivelon, bishop of Soisson in 1212.
