Ring of St. Louis/Made of gold covered with fleurs-de-lis, and decorated with a sapphire on which is engraved his image, with the two letters S.L., which stand for figillum Ludovici. Seal of St. Louis. At the end of the chain [holding it] is a silver coin thrown at Saint Denis. On one side is written the monogram KAROLUS and around it GRATIA DEI REX. And on the other SANTI DIONYSII M.
