Left Side Adam and Eve hide in the foliage (not shown)

At center is the Tree of Life hung with large round apples,, in whose curving trunk the Serpent is entwined.

At right, Eve, standing with legs crossed, takes an apple in her right hand, while with her left, she hands another one to Adam.
