Description The back and sides of this plate are covered with the royal robes which Kinlk Louis XIV, our august monarch, wore the day of his coronation celebrated at Reims on the seventh of June, 1654. Here one sees thehis royal cape covered with gold fleurs-des-lis, on a background of crimson velvet trimmed with erminem his shirt of red satin, his tunic, shi dalmatic, and his ankle-boots, all covered with gold fleurs-des-lys,
