Description

Vase made of agate whose whose foot, handle, and lid are made of gilded vermeil decorated with pearls. It is a present from Abbot Suger, as can be seen by the two verses written on it:

Dum libare Deo gemmis debemus & auro
Hoc ego Suggerius offero vas Domino
