Bowl made of tamarind wood, from which Saint Louis served
himeself, it is said, to preserve him from diseases of the spleen.

Sent to the Museum of Natural History on January 2, 1794, and not seen
again.
Notes
- In the Middle Ages, vessels made form woods such a tamarind were thought
to have curative powers.
- Center part of silver with enamel.
