There are two griffin windows at St. Denis, both in what is now the Chapel of St. Joseph (in the 12th century, it was the Chapel of St. Osmanne). Though they are much restored, enough original glass remains to show that they were part of the original 12th century glass ensemble. The individual panels are almost identical, so only one example is illustrated below.
