Identification

SAMUEL??

The incomplete inscription is EMIT E UNGUEREM IN REGEM,
which Grodecki  interprets to be part of Kings I, Chapter 15 verse 1,
Misit me Dominus ut ungerem te in regem." These are words that
Samuel addresses to King Saul. Under this interpretation,
the prophet pictured is Samuel

Note the iconography of the hand descending from above, touching
the forehead of the  prophet. Though the nineteenth century restorers added
this symbol to the other prophet panels, this is the only one that
we are sure originally contained it.

 MOSES

The inscription reads S. SIMILE MEI [...] SUSCITABIT DNS.
part of Deuteronomy 18, verse 15 Prophetam sicut me suscitabit
tibi Dominus" which would indicate that the prophet is Moses.

ISAIAH

The inscription is ET PARIET FILIUM.
(Isaiah Chapter 7, verse 14)

No image of the fourth prophet panel is available

Two other partial panels containing prophets are currently in the church at Wilton, England.
